USTR's Office of Market Access and Industrial Competitiveness (MAIC) is the USTR office responsible for addressing the range of market access and competitiveness issues facing U.S. manufacturers that are key to the competitiveness of U.S. business and exporters.
The MAIC office leverages the broad expertise of USTR's regional and functional offices and taps into key resources of the wider interagency process, and serves as a focal point for tackling key tariff and non-tariff barrier issues and developing creative approaches to minimizing future barriers and divergences through regulatory cooperation.
